We are very proud of our links
with the village and all the friends that we have locally. We perform at local functions,
recitals, weddings and local fetes. Our summer Saturdays are usually taken up performing
at local schools and village fetes.
This
gives ideal opportunities for new players from the training band to be
“broken in gently” before joining the showpiece concerts the following year.

A SUPPORTERS VIEW'
The band has been in existence for over forty years. It has many of its original performers still in it but nowadays it is complemented by a thriving Junior section ably mentored by Jenny and Lydia. There is a very active programme of events throughout the season as can be seen from the diary page. There are always regular events held for the people of Wadhurst, complemented by visits to some of the lovely stately homes and castles of Kent and Sussex. The highlight of this year is The band Tour to Northern France, and we have been asked back to perform in Eastbourne. Living as we do in a lovely part of the country it is marvellous that the bands concerts fit in so well with our community and truly reflects so much of what our 'Village' is about!
Welcome to our site, please take the time to look at what we do and support us at our concerts. We feel sure that you will enjoy what you hear.
